EMERSON CROP PANTS DETAILS
This is the second pattern I have made from True Bias, the Hudson Pants being my first. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. I know the blog world LOVED the Hudson pants, but those pants just never quite fit my body shape well. They sewed up fantastic, but didn’t do my body any ‘favors’. So when I saw the Emerson Crop Pants featured in this past month’s Sew News Magazine – I was hesitant at first. I loved the way they looked on the model, but would they look the same on me? Eventually, my love for the magazine photo won out – and I decided to give them a go.
I LOVE THESE PANTS!!!
Oh my goodness, I want to make like a million more of them for the Summer! They were so easy to sew up, and the comfort factor is off the charts. I seriously cannot say enough good things about them. They look so professional, and I am so very pleased with how they turned out. I am already imagining other rayon challis fabrics that I can use to make more. I refuse to put the pattern pieces away until at least 2 more of these pants are made. Which is perfect, as Spring / Summer is around the corner and I fully intend on LIVING in these dang pants all season long. Woot woot!
I say this without any form of compensation coming my way or endorsement of any kind…YOU MUST OWN THESE PANTS TOO. Trust me on this one. I cannot wait for it to get warm enough outside for me to wear them with sandals. This may be my favorite women’s pattern to date.
