Are you ready for the Kentucky Derby?
Admittedly, I have never been to a Derby Party. But that is all about to change this weekend! My husband and I are headed to our very first Derby Party being hosted by Distinction Magazine right here in Virginia Beach. While I expect many mint juleps and hats to be coming my way, I opted to wear the less traditional, but equally beautiful, fascinator. As much as I love a good hat, I have a hard time wearing them for lengthy periods of time. And nothing says southern charm quite like the magnolia!
This magnolia fascinator is so stunning in person. It would be GORGEOUS with a wedding dress. (Sometimes I thank my lucky stars that I am not trying to plan my wedding now that I love all things DIY – ha!). And just wait until you see how easy it is to make. Like, 3 steps easy.
