Lately everything in the DIY community seems to have the motto, ‘put a tassel on it’. Tassels are everywhere! They are on our home decor, jewelry, hair accessories, purses, and of course, our clothes. We have learned how to make tassels from leather, embroidery thread, silk, yarn, and even from t-shirt fabric. But the one thing I couldn’t seem to figure out, was how to get that tassel onto a basic waistband tie (without taking the time to weave the entire tie from scratch). When I stumbled across these fabulous dip dye tassels from Women’s Shop World Etsy store, I knew it was time to figure out how to attach the all mighty tassel to some new pajama shorts.
