Who could ever forget that infamous scene from Friends?!!
Not this girl apparently. Lol
This year we are thankful to be able to travel and spend Thanksgiving with family, and are looking forward to spending the holidays with loved ones. Of course the food will be delicious, but the best part is always the abounding laughter. Because who else can you be your silly self around, if not family?!! And what better way to show up after a 13 hour drive on Thanksgiving day, then by wearing a turkey on your head.
Pass the gravy please…

So yeah, there are now pictures of me in a turkey hat floating around on the internet. Which is why, 1) you cannot see my eyes, and 2) I comfort myself with these wise words from Amy Poehler…
There is power in looking silly and not caring that you do. -Amy Poehler
Indeed Ms. Poehler. Indeed. I feel more powerful already. Lol
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…happy sewing!
I had all the supplies to make this Turkey hat but could not get the pattern to show up with the ehow link-it was just a blank. I still want to make it and have it ready for next year’s Thanksgiving turkey frying. Is there another way to get the pattern? Thank you!
