We all have our tips and tricks when it comes to sewing. Something all seamstresses struggle with is refolding that dang tissue paper sewing pattern. Whether you interface the back, trace it out onto cardstock, file it away in a binder, hang it up in a closet, or some other cool trick…we all have to come up with our own way to deal with this first world problem.
Here is how I deal with it…I make a comical video.
How to refold a tissue paper sewing pattern, so that it fits back into it’s original packaging.
FOLDING TISSUE PAPER SEWING PATTERNS VIDEO
You’re welcome. Lol
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy sewing!
Lol! You are amazing. Thanks for the Friday laugh and the tip ?
That was cute. But huh, I always have cut out all the pattern pieces on the big sheet and then have 1,000,000 small pieces to cram back in the envelope (though lately I mostly use pdf patterns). So you don’t cut out the individual pieces? Mind = blown.
You are adorable.
Laughing. So. Hard.
I feel this way folding road maps. At least folding a paper pattern won’t make you crash your car! 🙂
Hilarious.
I usually fold each piece so that the pattern number and part (like sleeve) are visible in the top. Eay to find what pieces you need next time.
You are absolutely gorgeous and adorable in every way, including your cute name, Jess Rabbit. Oh and extremely talented. And funny! I am really enjoying your website and videos, especially when you up cycle clothes from the thrift shop. This one with the patterns is hilarious. Will pass on the good word about your site to anybody I know who enjoys sewing. Thanks!!
