Give your home decor a Spring facelift with flowers!
After Christmas we had a few plastic, fake wicker looking baskets lying around the house left over from generous gift baskets that were given to us. I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away – as they were nice baskets after all. But they also weren’t exactly my style for home decor. So I decided to give them a bit of a kick in the pants.
A little hot glue later, and we had some baskets that anyone would love.
Flower embellished basket DIY.
Originally I was going to spray paint the basket white, but after having it sit on my desk for a few days – I decided I kind of liked the juxtaposition of the brown against the brightly colored flowers.

Cute idea! Whoever invented the hot glue gun is a true genius. I use it for everything! One day I’ll tell you the story about how I glued my fingers together! LOL
