We recently had plans to go skiing over the Winter break…and we were REALLY looking forward to it. So much so, that I created a sewing pattern around it when I realized that my kids needed waffle and thermal tees for under their ski clothes! Woop woop!
Unfortunately for us, we had the warmest Christmas ever…and there was no snow on the mountain. It was so warm in fact, that we found ourselves in shorts and flip flops on Christmas. Everyone else was praising the warm Christmas weather, and I felt like the odd man out wishing for snow. Must be the New Yorker in me, sometimes us northerners get left behind in these beach towns. Ha! Either way, we had a lot of fun playing with our new toys in the gorgeous weather, riding bikes around the lake, and being thankful for the beautiful days while they lasted.
These waffle tees must live on to be worn another day.
