Fringe Plaid Cape Scarf

I am addicted. I want all the cape scarves in all the colors. Every time I get dressed up and can’t seem to match one of my cape scarves to my outfit I get so disappointed…

So naturally, I have to fix that problem. With a new cape scarf. Do you see my dilemma? Lol

Question for you – the instructions show to sew around all edges. How did you do the fringe trim? Did you leave it on on the shorter edges, or did you sew it on the right side of the fabric with a larger hem and then cut the fringes to the hemline? Thanks!
