Women’s Cowl Neck Sweatshirt – Free Pattern

Cowl neck sweatshirts are kind of like my uniform all Fall / Winter long. They get worn, washed, and immediately worn again the next day. Lol – I’m not kidding though. For real.

Okay…..maaaybe I will wear a good ole plaid shirt to mix it up a bit now and then. But when I am not wearing plaid, I am in these.

Wait, wait, wait – I love to wear my dolman top tunic dresses too.  Ok, so every Tuesday, Thursday, and on the weekends I am in this sweatshirt. At least.

Unless I am wearing plain jeans and a tee, then I am in that.  Or maybe I didn’t get changed out of my jogging pants all day long.  Okay, so, the first and fifteenth of every month – I am wearing this sweatshirt. I promise. Lol

Either way, you’ll love it.

A very quick question! On the sizing chart you go up to XXL but on the finished measurements and the fabric requirements you only go up to XL. Is here any difference? Should the charts go up to XXL?

That you for any assistance as I would need the XXL.

Thank you for this lovely pattern, this is exactly what I was looking for! I’m intending to make it very simple, black sweat fabric, but to decorate it with badminton shuttlecocks, my favorite sport, made in white thermobonding (is that the right word?) – sorry for my English! This is really a fantastic pattern and fit. I’ve made two of these so far—there will be more. I refashioned an XXL men’s black sweatshirt (from the Goodwill) using this pattern and, today, I cut up an off-white jersey fleece bedsheet (also from the Goodwill) to create another. (I love up-cycling and reusing cast-offs.)

Thank you for sharing this pattern!
