Its no secret that I love the Casual Lady dress pattern. It is one of my go-to fave women’s patterns for its simplicity, ease of sewing, and comfortable, flattering fit. I love that I can dress this pattern up or down, as well as easily manipulate the basic pattern piece blocks to make new dresses that suit my fabric needs or pattern alteration desires. So when I stumbled across a gorgeous coral eyelet during my trip to Mood Fabrics, I knew exactly what dress I wanted to make with it.
Something that would allow a little peek-a-boo eyelet to show through at the bottom, and cinch in at the waist with a drawstring. Cute, yet comfortable. Perfect for our Hawaii trip.
