I love a good pair of palazzo pants. They are super comfortable, look great dressed up or dressed down, and are multi-seasonal. This is a great sewing video DIY that talks through how to sew palazzo pants, and includes a link for a palazzo pants sewing pattern.

Thank you for the helpful video. I’ve learn a lot of things via your post. Palazzo Pants are always my favorite and this post is exactly what I am looking for ’cause I also want to make it by my own.
By the way, I use some of these brands for my sewing and I want to share with all of you: http://thesmartsewist.com/6-leading-brands-that-make-you-sew-better/
Thank you.
Hi — I’ve just started trying to convert skirts into pants (and am a VERY basic sewing maching user!) I have a question about the rise — I’ve seen a lot of videos on youtube, using another pair of pants as the “pattern”, but my question is when the pants are folded in half, are they to be folded with the back together or the front? (does that make sense?) Same for the material/skirt.
I feel like I never get my rise correct. And what about the waist? Some pants show a dip in the front (I prefer a mid-rise waist). Thanks!
