It’s no secret that my hometown is NY. I love going home, visiting family and spending time in this fabulous city. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to visit as often as I do, and that my kids get to spend time with their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins every time we do. But the most fun part is realizing that as my kids get older, we can start to enjoy NYC TOGETHER.
With only a few days in NY this time, I had to make the most of it. We brought the kids to the Museum of Natural History, Playland, Caramoor Art & Music Center, the Lego Store, Times Square, and even did a little fabric shopping in the district.
By the way – if you are ever at Mood with kids, make sure you find Eileen. She is FABULOUS, and loves kids!! Hi Eileen! She is seriously awesome.

And then we were home.
It was an amazing 2.5 weeks of traveling, but we are home now and loving it. Until the next trip that is coming in August (woot woot – gotta love Summer!).
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy Sewing!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Home is always the best!
We live in NJ and, of course, don’t spend as much time in NYC as we ought to, but we do love it. Looking forward
to receiving your travel news in August. Last evening my husband and came back from spending the month of July in Sicily, Italy. It’s where he was born, and we always enjoy spending time with the family there. This time he planned every day so he could see all important places on the island that he has never before seen. We rent a car and spend a lot of time in it. I think we put almost 5,000 miles on it. For the people and the beauty of the land, you would enjoy a trip there. However, don’t expect to find fabric and notions stores to visit.
