Dolman Dress Pattern {free}

I am all about women’s sewing patterns that flatter and fit in all the right places, but sometimes you just want a dress that will hang loose and flow in the wind. Which is why you will find about a million of these dresses hanging in my closet. The women’s Dolman Dress pattern is perfect for those hot Spring and Summer days, when you just want to be comfortable and cute. An alternative to the maxi dress, this dolman dress has a super boxy top, yet is cropped to a mini-length to show just the right amount of leg. After all, you still want to look like a woman :).

      Absolutely!!! Depending on how round your belly is, you might want to add a slight curve to the bottom front of the dress hem, so that it doesn’t ride up too short in the front vs. back 🙂

    I just really want you to know that I’m so happy and grateful that I found your sight. I was in a car accident in 2011 and broke my back and I can’t work anymore, but I’ve recently started a small sewing business, since sewing has been my hobby for over 37 years. You have given me some REALLY great fabric places to buy inexpensive but great quality material from. You have also put patterns on your sight for free and encouraged us to make and sell them which is totally unselfish,most people wouldn’t do that. I Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all the help that you have given me to be able to make some extra money for my family. You are a beautiful person and I wish there were more people out there like you , your family should feel blessed that they have a mom like you. So thank you for all that you do. I always feel that if I can help at least one person who needs it that it will make the world a better place ,and you my dear have. So again I’m very thankful I found you and hope to send some pics of some of the things I’ve designed. Have a wonderful day and keep smiling. Thanks. Cheri
