I first came across the Snap Wrap Dress at Prudent Baby when I was looking to make a few quick, last minute sundress for our family vacation. I loved the way the dress came out so much, the pattern immediately went into my ‘Go-to Pattern pile’, so that I would remember it whenever I needed a dress in a pinch.
Flash forward to one of Grosgrain’s Inspiration posts, where she had a lovely picture featuring Anthropology’s new Wedding Dress line…and an idea was born.
Putting my own spin on it to keep it kid friendly, while giving it the classic preppy / going sailing look, I give you the Snap Wrap Dress Pattern Remix!
I chose to make it out of white linen, which of course will be ruined but I can never seem to stop myself from buying (its love
obsession), and matched with shades of blue. I am absolutely in love with how this dress turned out! So light and breezy, can be used as a quick cover-up, an easy sundress, or even dressed up for a more elegant affair!
