Nothing says Spring or Summer quite like linen. Linen has to be one of my all time favorite textiles, there is just something so easy about it. A fabric staple in my ever-growing collection, linen manages to be classy yet simple all at the same time. The second I get a whiff of Spring in the air, I typically bust out the linen and start sewing.
And what little girl doesn’t love a classic pillowcase dress? They are fabulous because they can go from dress, to tunic, to shirt – leaving your little one with a handmade creation they can wear for years! - 1/2 to 1 yard of woven fabric
- 1 to 1-1/2 yards of woven lining/ruffle fabric
- safety pin
- sequin or lace embellishments
- 1 yard of grosgrain ribbon
- pins or binder clips
- sewing machine
