Ah London, you have stolen my heart.
I had no idea what to expect when we visited London, in all honesty – it was never on the top of my list as places to visit. But when opportunities present themselves, I am always for traveling and seeing new places. Buckingham Palace – HELLO. I couldn’t wait to see everything London had to offer, and it was truly amazing. After 6 incredible days in London, it was hard for me to leave this fabulous city.
Sewing Rabbit Travels – London.
We started off the trip by lounging around the center of London, overcoming our jet lag by doing morning runs around the Palace and local parks – hanging at Carnaby Street – sitting for tea time at Browns – and of course hitting up the most important fabric shops.
Then we started our official tours….
From the Tower of London, to Jack the Ripper, to Neal’s Yard in London – we saw everything. And loved it.
And last, but certainly not least…
I somehow managed to talk my husband into bringing me to Universal Studios London to visit the Harry Potter set.
Yesss…..this was beyond AWESOME. I so recommend doing this if you are a Harry Potter fan.
London was beyond incredible – and I feel so thankful to have had the opportunity to travel there.
If you ever get the change – GO.
The people were so friendly and social (not walking by on the street – they were cogety grumblers) – but once you were inside of a pub, nothing but nice! The food was fantastic, the sites are so worth seeing, and the fabric is worth the british pounds you spend on them.
London, you have stolen my heart – and I cannot wait to go back! Next up….Ireland.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
