They are here! The most incredible ever in the history of all the world 2015 Sewing Rabbit Team. I know, I know…I say that every year. But that is because I am excited every year! A brand new year filled with possibilities of working with creative geniuses. And now this year, 2015 is going to be AMAZING! Just wait until you see. You are going to flip.
This year we are doing something a little different though. Instead of doing an open casting call for the core team, I brought some people whom I know and love on board. Some from past teams, and some people that I am just so excited to work with for the first time! Why didn’t I do an open call this time around? Because I want to have a chance to work with everybody, YOU included! More on that below.
But first, let’s meet the 2015 Sewing Rabbit Team! Woot woot.

I have quite possibly the BEST team in the world. Am I right? Amazing.
Its going to be an amazing year.
Now onto the open casting calls….
Do you want to be featured on the Sewing Rabbit?
This year we are mixing things up. Not only do we have a dedicated team bringing awesome content, but we want to get to know YOU as well! If you have an idea that you think fits the Sewing Rabbit website, e-mail me at sewingrabbit(at)gmx.com for your chance to be a guest team member.
I am always on the look out for great sewing DIY posts and sewing articles! Things that help keep the Sewing Rabbit modern and fresh, whether they make you laugh or cry – it doesn’t matter. So long as it keeps you INTERESTED. All sewing levels accepted, if you have something to teach others – we want to hear it! If pitching a DIY, excellent photography skills are a must – Part of creating a beautiful end product and presenting it on a blog, is the beauty of capturing the creation process and the photoshoot of your end result. This helps readers not only understand how to recreate the product, but also fall in love with you and want to come back for more.
You can be a guest team member at the Sewing Rabbit!
Simply send your pitch idea to: sewingrabbit(at)gmx.com
I will try to respond to all inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
Please include in your pitch:
- A well thought out plan / idea
- Some photos if you have already created the product, or sketches if you have them
- Otherwise, please include links to past projects you have done
- A link to your blog if you have one
- If proposing an article, please include: a Topic sentence, a draft of the first paragraph, and a brief run down of the article.
- If proposing graphics, please give me an idea or reference as to the type of graphic you would like featured (flowchart, quiz, infographic, inspirational quotes, etc.)
Lastly, if your pitch is not accepted…please do not be discouraged! I give LOADS of pitches every month to companies that I work with that get rejected. But I put my boots back on and try again. Their loss is my gain, because some of those pitches went on to be my BIGGEST traffic posts. Sometimes its just about sending the right idea, at the right time!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Until next time…Happy Sewing!
